EXTRUSION PROCESS

To manufacture plastic stationery, industry uses a process known as Extrusion. Our state of the art extrusion machine can provide very good quality products and free of die-swell. All our procedure from the start to finish product are under strict procedure. The plastic resin is fed in pellet form into the machines hopper (this machine is known as an Extruder). The extruder melts the plastic (resin) and the material is conveyed continuously forward by a rotating screw. The rotating screw forces the plastic beads forward into the barrel which is heated to the desired melt temperature of the molten plastic. The softened resin is then forced out through a die. From here it is conveyed onwards into the take-off rollers, which actually do the pulling of the softened plastic from the die. The last step of extrusion is cutting process. We can cut varies sizes depend on our customer specification. From the cutting process, it will go through our converting line. We have more than 50 varies converting lines to assembly the finish products.

BLOWING FILM

The other process of polypropylene rolls known as Blown Film Extrusion.
The plastic is fed into the machines hopper; the plastic is conveyed forward by a rotating screw inside a heated barrel and softened by both friction and heat. The softened plastic is then forced upwards through a circular die in a shape of a hollow tube. The softened plastic is then forced out through a die and directly into cool water where the product solidifies. From here it is conveyed onwards into the take-off rollers, which actually do the pulling of the softened plastic from the die. The film is then continuously rolled up by take-off rollers. From the sheet rollers, it will go directly to cutting process and the next step will go to converting line to assembly the final products.



QUALITY CONTROL

The plant has measurement and control of temperature, etc., at various points to ensure precise and accurate operation. During the manufacturing process, samples are collected at various stages and tested for quality by trained personnel. Each batch of the final product is sampled statistically and tested.

 
Our manufacture, located in Jakarta, Indonesia, has been producing superior stationary product. Utilizing state of art extrusion equipment, we can customized specification and design per customer requirement. Currently, PT Kharisma Interplast Pratama operates 8 state-of-the-art extrusion lines, 6 lines film blowing extrusion, 50 converter and more than 600 competent employees. All of our products are manufactured under strict guidelines.
